Swasth is a Not-for-Profit initiative (will be registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act) that aims to leverage India’s proven clinical capabilities and demonstrated technology prowess to:
Democratize access to quality primary care – for any citizen anywhere in India
Ensure this access is affordable.
Leverage digital technology, to optimally use available provider capacity
Promote a system that fully adopts national health standards, and ensure interoperability
To ensure that the needs of the consumers are prioritized, the concerns of the industry are addressed while complying with the laws of the land, this consortium will have the oversight of a Governance Board comprising of some of India’s best minds, from the Government and Industry.
The Chairmanship will be for a fixed duration and by rotation, the selection for which will be done by the Governing Council members.
This initiative will be Program Managed and Audited by global Consulting and Audit firms.
This system will aim at providing care to a large number of patients at home while reserving limited hospital capacity for only those in critical condition.
